Walking in the light means admitting sin. Today we look at three admissions required for walking in the light of truth and one damning confession that reveals an absence of light, darkness. 

 

    I John 1:9-10

No One wants to Hear about Sin Anymore - even some Christians. And so elaborate deceptions are devised in a herculean effort to avoid the Truth. Today we will deconstruct five deceptions often employed by the world to deny sin in ourselves and in others. 

All who call themselves Christian have worried and wonder if they are truly walking with Jesus in the Light? Today we discover two Introspective questions which must be asked and answered before anyone may determine, with confidence, if indeed you are walking in the Light.

Is it possible for a Christian to be a Sojourner and a Patriot in his home country? Is it possible to be an effective Priest for Jesus Christ as well? Peter teaches us that only is it possible, but it is our Christian duty to serve as Priests and Patriots!

Fathers, do you want to stay up all night worrying about your children - forever? Or do you want to raise your Children who are such that you can lay your head down at night knowing they are going to make wise decisions for themselves and for you? Then, Fathers, you must learn to become "Protectors" of your family.

Just leave me alone is all often said to the Lord God by rebellious men and women in their misguided imaginings that life will be more joyous without God. Thankfully, God will not just leave us alone but comes after us to establish "fellowship" together with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. Today we will examine how Fellowship Life just walked right into the lives of the disciples and will for anyone who wants to walk with Christ today.

III. Fellowship Life - Just Walked Right In (1:3-4)

 

Into a world of eternal death, eternal life walked in. "Eternal Life" just walked right into time, visibly manifest to all men everywhere. So, what does eternal life walk like? Jesus walked eternal life Visibly, Notably and Unmistakably so that men might believe the testimony of those who have seen and walk into eternal life through Jesus Christ - eternal life walking.

The Word of Life walked into history, time and place - like no living person before Him, Jesus spoke the very words of life as He ministered to a lost and dying world. Indeed we learn today that Jesus, the Word was flesh and blood - Heard, Seen and Handled by the Apostles from the beginning of His earthly ministry.
