"After The Last Revival - God Sent Malachi"

Not every movement that claims "Revival" is, in truth, a revival. Israel seemed to be in a state of revival under King Josiah before the Captivity and again Ezra & Nehemiah after their release from captivity. Both "revivals" proved false. In like manner in America, we have labeled movements "revivals" yet they proved the opposite. Today we are given a solemn warning similar to that which Malachi delivered so that we may be wise in determining whether the USA is experiencing a revival or Not!

God stopped speaking to Israel after Malachi the Prophet spoke "Last Words" over them. Today, we will review four facts of Israel's history that signaled this time of "silence" from their God.

Those who do not Learn from History are Doomed to Repeat it! Paul reminds us that God was faithful to write down the Experiences of the Old Testament Fathers so that we could learn from their Examples both good and evil and Learn from history to avoid evil and do that which pleases God as New Testament Believers.

Paul writes the last three "Givens" with the purpose of producing a state of "No Worries" in the Christians at Thessalonica. They are given; Peace, Assurance, and finally Grace for a worry-free future.
