First – Fruits of the Resurrection

Jesus is the First – fruits of the Resurrection – the Resurrection promised, prophesied, and prefigured in the feast of first–fruits. We look to Luke today as he presents Jesus as the First – fruits as a Sacrifice, as a Death, as a Burial, as a Resurrection, as a Fulfillment and as a Fact Proven so that we may view our own death as believers as a further victory by Jesus over the grave unto Resurrection Life!– Luke 23 – 24 & 1 Corinthians 15

The Second Fundamental necessary to reach the finish in running the “faith race” is – Be Trainable!  Athletes who refuse to be trained by their Coaches fail as will Christians who refuse the training offered by their Lord.

Therefore, let us learn to be Trainable and finish with maturity.--Hebrews 12:7-11
