Marching to Zion with Thanksgiving

The Children of Israel gathered at the temple in Jerusalem three times a year to meet with God and celebrate His feast days. Today we will march with them in pilgrimage for the Feast of Tabernacles and join in singing the Psalms of Ascent so that we may become prepared to enjoy the same feast in the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus one day soon. – The Psalms of Ascent, Psalm 120 – 134

Proclaiming God’s Word in the Face of Adversity

Today's sermon is brought by Hayden Hammontree our pastoral intern.

Jeremiah was the last prophet sent to Judah before they were taken captive by Babylon as chastisement for rebellion against God. We to have been sent by God to deliver a message of warning to a world in rebellion and have much we can learn from Jeremiah's trials. The pattern for proclaiming God's Word in the face of adversity is outlined in the account of Jeremiah chapter 36. A process of four steps as outlined in this account that will help us to understand how we may proclaim God's Word boldly in the face of adversity.
